c4 brake upgrade

btw does anyone know where to get a significantly smaller in dia power brake booster thats an improvement over the stock booster

I can tell people with 87 and earlier cars the J55 13" brakes will fit under 16x9.5 wheels on the Z51 and Z52 cars. Don't use the Grand Sport calipers. I had to file the top of the calipers about 1/16". Used parts can do the conversion for 1/2 what the kits cost.
Brackets are available from Corvette Central. I believe they are made by Stainless Steel Brake Corp.

A Simpler Upgrade

For what it's worth I just used Baer 12" Eradi Speed rotors and Hawk HPS pads. No fade, no dust, no rust. They look real nice on my semi show '92 with chrome ZO6 wheels. Worked them pretty hard two weekends ago on a closed track and no fade. I'm satisfied and no questions about wheel fit.
