Question: C4 convertible

I am a future corvette owner (again). I had a 1971 hardtop in 1978. But my question concerns golf clubs and the C4 corvette. I'm hoping to purchase something soon, but I'm doing some research right now.
Question: Does 2 sets of golf clubs fit in the cargo area of a C4 convertible?
If the top is "up"... can a person, unlatch the back part of the top, move it forward, open the deck lid (from the inside) and access that cargo area with the top up... like a trunk? and if so, can 2 sets of clubs fit back there?

I know they fit in the back of a C5, but I'm a C4 fan...

Anyone with pictures would be very helpful. Thanks

I have a 90 Convertible and theres not alot of room behind the seats. You can unlatch the top and openn the deck for access. I'm not a golfer so I don't know the lengh of the bags, but you will be lucky to get one bag in there , let alone two! I will measure the cargo area if you would like.

The only way I ever got 2 sets of golf clubs in a C4 was with a coupe and the rear area was pretty full then.

Everytime I took my clubs in the vette I had them in the passenger seat. I do not believe two sets of clubs will fit. Depth would be fine, but width may be lacking.

I have gotten 2 sets of clubs in the back of my C-4 Convert but I had to take the Big Berthas out and put them in the passenger seat area. It's a tight fit but doable.
