I have been thinking about buying a corvette, but would like to stay under $15K... I've been looking at a C4 convertibles. (Not the biggest selection around here, so I'm considering shopping online).

But... I had a question.
With the top up, (on a convertible), is it possible to lift the back end of the top up and forward, raise the deck lid, with the front latched to the windshield? sort of like access to a trunk space?...

Any pictures would be very helpful... Thanks

Yes you can, no problem. Make sure the one you get has weatherstriping around the deck lid. Mine didn't. It appears to me that it left the factory that way since I know both previous owners and the car only had 39k miles when I bought it and there was no adhesive residue at all

:welcome

With the top up, you need to unlatch the rear deck lid pins via the cable under the deck lid. Fold the top up out of the way, open the deck lid, and you have access to the rear area. The front stays latched. Sorry I dont have any pictures at the moment.
