I replaced the fog lamps and rear view mirror'a map lamps with LEDs, and was the best bang for the buck face lift ever. Like $30.

Bought the pair of 880L LED replacements off Ebay for $12 with this title:
"2x High Power 880 892 893 899 Cree LED Bulb Fog Driving Light Lamp White"

Leftside (facing you) is the standard 880L fog lamp. The rightside is the LED replacement. IPhone picture doesn't do it justice, but the LED is 6000K bright white and the other is darker and yellow.

Simliar thing when I replaced one of the rear view mirror's map courtesy lamps (yellow) with LED (white)

LED in left package, original bulb put into the right side package for size comparison. Bought these at the local Auto Zone.

I was tempted to replace all the 1156 & 1157s with leds but I'm concerned that the heat of the leds will damage the housing and lenses.

A very interesting upgrade and inexpensive upgrade! Thanks for sharing!! :w
