I'm in the process of replacing lower control arm bushings on an 87. On disassembly I found quite a bit of corrosion in the bushing area of one of the control arms. After cleaning up the control arm I found the new neoprene bushing to be almost a "drop in" fit. The bushing fit in the non corroded arm is a light press fit. Is that a problem? Should I replace the corroded arm? Should the outside of the bushings be lubed prior to installation? Thanks for your help.
