I wave at all Corvettes no matter what I am driving, you should do the same.:thumb

Ya gotta love that positive, friendly outlook.

I prefer to think that in this congested area, there are just too many cars, many Corvettes and wide medians that are an impediment to more waving among Corvettes, as opposed to less admirable reasons.

I wave on the hiway. However, I'm just a tad busy sometimes in the city with 7 forward gears and the occasional supprise shift from the "automatic" OD.

Hell, yes, I wave. It doesn't bother me if they don't get it. They will sooner or later. :w

:w Wave anyway. I always do. Matter of fact, I waved at the driver of a new Camaro yesterday as she passed me on the highway... just paying my respects to a fellow Chevy owner and acknowledging her good taste in automobiles.

Oh, and I got a return wave too. :thumb

i gave up waving out here on the left coast, it just dont werk..
but if im in arkansas or oklahoma ill wave at everybody, so they wont shoot....

WhalePirot, you and I live in the same city if I remember correctly. I think you understand about the Corvette-Wave tradition over here in SoCal. Only real enthusiasts of the type wave. Most of the time, they have no clue. The newer the Corvette, the lesser they are informed--at least in general. I find Z06 owners to be the most enthusiastic. I wave at them. Also C4, very nice looking C4's wave too. Most C4's I've seen are beat up to death and driven by clueless teens or daily commuters who don't care or know about the wave.

So I've given up waving to Corvettes 90% of the time out here. Out in the countryside were Corvette enthusiasts go to, I wave all the time!

I will check out your '55 Project when I get home (can't view pics at work). Sounds very interesting. If you see a guy in a Mustang GT or C4 Corvette waving at you while you drive it, it's me! :)

Cool. I will wave and we are on the same page. For now, I don't drive the monster C4 too much, but it's in line for the Shinoda kit when the 'other' Corvette project is finished.

Did we meet at Fuddrucker's?

UR welcome to drop by some time if you want a look-see.
:w

I waved at a C6 Z06 today, from my Smart Vert. He didn't 'get it'. :w

wave

I drive a c6 and I wave at all vettes. Some times they wave. Some times they don't even look my way. Some times they look like they are clue-less. But no matter what I will always wave when I see a vette or any nice Chevy.

I try to do that, too, but with all the local traffic, it doesn't always happen. Welcome to the CAC.

I had a C6, triple black '05 Z51 6-spd for a day. Nice choice, yours. :w

thanks, mine is the 6 spd.m, black on black. I know what you mean by being in traffic and I believe that is why some vette owners don't wave. It is because they didn't see me.

I recall waving to a friend on the opposite side of the road......as I drove up under the bed of a ford p/u at the stop lite.
That ball-hitch sure left a scratch !

That sucks. I lowered the one-piece garage door onto the hood my my then brand-new Vette, leaving a deep scratch. My wife remarks, "I am so glad you did that and not me!"

Been fabricating some pieces for the new steering wheel install, then the rod, U-joints and tranny linkage. Takes a LOT of time!
:w

I even wave to nice bright yellow Mustangs. Jumped into a line of obviously crusin' show Mustangs recently, and even got a wave from them! It was even an all five finger wave!

:w

Hi Roy. I never get to wave to you!

The power steering works as does the 700R4 linkage and the unit, but I was the brakes, so far. Working on placement of the Corvette-style booster.master cylinder/peday assy.:w

Always wave:w. If they don't get it, maybe they should be dring Yugos instead......
