Nothing like Moms cook'n that's for sure :upthumbs Sure be nice to get the Vette out this season, lot of rain here (excuse the pun!) but the daylight is longer, and the temperature is rise'n so it won't be long now.

Glad to hear alls well,

Let's just say I have a smoke cup holder which looks the same as the one Guy offers.

Guy's Cupholder

And I would like to state it works very well in my Z06, even with some playful shifting. I typically have 24 ounce Styrofoam cup of black coffee. I did not get any inkling of the cup trying to come out of the holder or tipping. Also, nothing was spilt. I use the plastic lids with the drinking tab torn out.

I had doubts at first on how well these would actually work, but now after testing it I will continue to use it.

As Guy has stated if you have a black interior the “Smoke” works very well. When the holder is folded it is barely noticeable and even when open it is very unobtrusive in its location, but easy to reach for me. Of course I am a little over six foot so maybe a smaller person might have reach issue, but I doubt it as it is only about two inches further to the right then the current stock cup holder.

I just used some of those self tapping screws and mounted a metal baking pan to the cargo area between the seats, ;LOL ;LOL when my wife needs to bake in it with a rechargable drill it is easy to remove. I haven't had to remove it yet ;LOL ;LOL

Seriously Guys cup holder for the most part does all I need it to do. I did purchase one of those leather pouches that mount between the seats and just in the cargo area. It is good to put sun glasses in and a few other things, it has a lid and holds about all I need it too. Not too handy for the cell phone though and it is a bit pricey, got it from Mid-America Motorworks.

Take care all,
Bill :w

Girl in a box holder is great. I have 2.

So far I have only bought 30 of these......and they all work and I am no longer thirsty..........right Guy.
:D :w

Ron, I'd like to know where you put them all. ;LOL

Baron, Another person from Florida sells them on Ebay too (our own MM-C5 - Tom knows him) and I found someone else by accident out west (I think). We all buy some variation of the holders and mill up the Lexan and put them together. There's enough Vettes out there to keep the 4 of us making holders.

BTW - Where in NJ are you? I lived near Toms River in the 50's - yeah, I'm old.

I live in Central NJ (Edison). I wasn't trying to bash or put the screws to anyone here. It was a case of reading just a few posts and throwing one up. Didn't mean to slight you or anyone else. The design you are useing works well.

I didn't think you were bashing and no offense taken - I didn't mean to sound that way. When you read some of my other posts down the road, you'll find I don't take much seriously.

I didn't see your name signed up for CruiseFest! ;)

If the cup holder is not from Guy it's not in my Vette. . . . . . Works great and I wouldn't leave home without it.

Bill, We all know you drive you Vette just to use the cup holder. ;LOL
Gonna miss you this year, Pal! Maybe your boss will retire in the
next 2 weeks. ;)
