I googled super race industries, the oil filter part number you listed, etc, etc. It appears that you are even more full than the filter system you are describing. Have you got a link to that indescribably good filter system? Or is this just more of the same? :eyerole
Jim

Jim, it's obviously a joke. I'm just not sure what DW stands for, perhaps Remo's initials, but you should recognize the rest of the "part number" 2001-C5... ;)

Leon

It clearly is a joke and a funny one at that...but if someone designed it...someone would buy it.

Leon

I knew that it was not serious. I appreciate some humor, but some of our newer members could be misled in this kind of thread. Remo likes to stir the pot and sit back to watch. :crazy

The DW stands for "double wall" (a filter within a filter) which offers an even higher level of security to protect your engine from those big chunks.
;LOL

Is that the one with the carbon fiber inner wall and the unobtainium outer wall?

"Well the DW2001C5 filter is "larger" than most. As a matter of fact it requires an additonal (6) quarts above and beyond your normal capacity. "

I have the DW2001C5R which requires 12 quarts additional, however, the only place to install it is in place of the passenger seat. ;LOL

you got me I thought it stood for Darryl Waltrip ;LOL

With only 6 qts extra oil how does it keep the oil cool? I thought it took about 6 gal. to keep oil cool in a C5. OK I admit it.. I got suckered. :duh Nothing like contributing to some good humor.;LOL Now where is that hole.

Remo-I suggest that your next poll should be on the best muffler bearings or the best headlight fluid. :D

I personally was wondering what Brand Johnson Rod you all use, as far as the Headlight fluid, I think the Blue Dot is prefered,Hence that cool blue Glare.

Or what medications proved to be infective to treat Remo:D
Btw way I thought Dr. Patrick was going to keep tabs on Remo:eyerole , but since we have a pharmacist in the house that ok too. :beer

Hey Guy, any of you NE guys making a trip down for the NCRS show this year?

Leon

Not this year, Leon. Too bad - I know we could have gotten a good price on headlight fluid from one of the venors down there. ;)

That is too bad. The vendors sell in such volumes I would never use it all living in FL. We don't have enough of a temp swing down here to have to worry about putting the winter fluid in. ;)

Leon,

Come on up to Bowling Green in June for the CAC CruiseFest. What's 835 miles between friends. I'll even give you one of my DW2001C5 oil filters.

Seriously thinking about it. Parents live about an hour and half from BG. Could spend a few days there and come up for the fest. :)

Will I be able to get that filter in my trunk with the headlight fluid?

You will probably have Room for a box of Timken Muffler bearing's Too!! (Less resistance for that Hy-Flow exhaust!!) and you just as well pick up a couple Gallons of North Carolina's Finest Octane Booster too!! There is still a few suppliers that AGE it in Charred Oak barrel's!! ( Don't get it on your paint!!) ;LOL :rotfl
