The lid of your rear drivers side compartment
(back at the tail lights) should have a list
of the codes your Vette has.
If that is missing you can sned your VIN # to
the www.c5-registry.com and for a small fee
you can get the "build sheet".

Does my 97 C5 (A4) have active handling or did they start to put that on the 98's?

THanks

The Active Handling became an option in the 1998. Late year productions
were shipped with it as standard equipment but the base price went up $500.
I cant help but notice that your handle is the golf ball that I hit.
But, I never buy any number over 5 and never ever a 3 so why 7 ?
Also , If your birthday is 9/28/84 that puts you in the $15,000/year insurance range for a '97 Vette.
My 16 year old gets to drive the '98 on special occasions. And, I thought he had a good life!

The 7 at the end if just kind of a lucky number I guess. I play a lot of golf so I wanted a golf screen name. And seven is kind of a lucky number. The insurance for the car isn't that much because my parents are considered the primary drivers even though I drive it everyday and they bought it for me. Your son is lucky to be able to drive the 98' on specials occasions because people our age love Vette's. Thanks for all your help!

Titleist07,
Your BD is same as mine, except 34 years later!
Kids my age like Vettes too.

Or you could just look in the glove compartment. There's a label with all of your options there.

Don't you need to know the code numbers to find out.
