Hi all,
Now
In the case of the Gold corvette lettering on the front plate cover: The letters are light up! No lettering added. I routed the letters out and put a diffuser behind them. So at night they really stand out.

The Areo Dynamics were studied with a made up wind tunnel and smoke. The system pulls in plenty of air. In fact, I ran 13.33 on the track before the mod and now run 13.16. This means that it must do something for my performance. I can also feel the difference around 60 to 70 mph.

The inake under the hood is not completed yet, but the design is finished. I am debating weither I want to construct the incasement from stainless, aluminum, or Lexan. I actually designed the intake to flow the air in and downwards to a side to side chamber where the water is taken out by a series of fins and redirects the air back to the sides , up, and into another side chamber before it is forced into the air filter.(K&N). There is a valve that can shut off the scoop air and simultaniously opens to the under hood area in strong rains.
For everyday driving now, I use a temporarily constructed open chamber ( until the other one is finished) that is removable during bad weather.

I will. Trying to finish it up but working a lot lately

I just want to tell Patrick and 6Shooter: You guys crack me up!

You can see how pathetic a life I have, if I come to CAC for laughs.

Seriously, I know both of you. Both of you have a great sense of humor.

Keep up the good work! :D

Save The Wave! :w

PS Patrick, how is your C4 doing? Any mods now or in the future?

LT4Man- hey, how's it going?
Glad Dwayne and I put a smile on your face. That's one of our lesser known goals around here- have 'em in a better when they leave than when they arrived. ;)

To your question- I have to confess I have not made any mods to my '90 Convertible, other than window tint and a new stereo. I love the car (in fact, I took the Corvertible to work today, rather than the Z06, since its supposed to get pretty cold tomorrow.)

Now for the down side. As much as I love it, I'm finding after a few months of increased gas prices, interest rate bumps in my credit card, and the fact that the PUC here in CO has just approved XCel energy to raise electricity and natural gas rates by something like 44% starting this winter, that having two car payments is starting to really squeeze me. I'd be lying if I said the thought of selling my '90 hasn't crossed my mind or twice.

But thanks for the inquiry!

:w
