04 Commemorative

I have an 04 Commemorative Conv. 6 speed (could you have guessed?) And while at a local show and parked next to my friends 04 Commemorative coupe it became apparent that his was sitting 1" higher in the front then mine was. I took it to the dealer,I only have 7000 miles on it and after checking it out (as I watched) they reported that the car was 1" lower then GM specs and there was some adjustment in the front spring but....all 4 shocks were leacking from the seals! They ordered new shocks and when they come in and are replaced they will adjust spring if needed. Has anyone else had this problem? And how do you suppose a Corvette would leave the factory with this condition?
