C5 stalls

Today I took my C5 Corvette out and drove it down to catch the ferry (10 km). It worked great as usual. When the ferry arrived, I started it up and let the clutch out and it went 5-10 feet and stalled. I tried it 5-6 more times with the same results. Tried it in reverse same thing. I called CAA (AAA in US)

CAA arrived about 2 hours latter. I stared it up and everything was fine so I turned around and went home and everything was fine. This is a 2003 25th anniversary corvette convertible, 6 speed manual transmission with only 24000 miles on it. No engine light came on. just stalled out

Anyone have any idea what caused this.
