If you're looking to buy your first Corvette now is a great time to consider a C5. These cars were a break through in technology, performance, comfort, styling and reliabilty. Now that the C6's have been out for a couple years, the C5's are really affordable for most interested parties. My suggestion? Now's the time - get one, you'll love it.

You know I never really factored that in. So let me clarify for any of you that are looking for the best deal possible on a pre-owned C5. Acording to my good friend, Dwayne - 6-Shooter "Sunflower", the silver ones are always priced lower because they're not as cool looking as the Millenium Yellow ones.:L

I am convinced that if I drive my '03 AE Coupe like its got the heart of my LT4Coupe...it is a great car for the value...but the LT4 is so much more of a "sports car"...and it acts like one...for less $$$....!!!!

Anybody got change for my 2 cents worth!!!

:L :L :L You bet it would be..... for the right price he'd dump it like an elephant needing to go poo..then get a C6:rotfl

Another of Remo's threads gets sidetracked on the discussion of color. Another winter thread goes awry...

...only this time Remo isn't the reason for it. Hmmm...
;squint:

Dwayne, do we need to start you on some winter meds, too? Don't make me send DRTH VTR over there- he is a Pharmacist, you know, and has lots of stuff in his cabinets that will leave you a droolin' fool until the spring thaw.

get 2!

Totally agree...C5 is a good way to go

I totally agree...drove a new C6, but died over the sticker price.
Looked at other cars, but the C5 was the best "bang for the buck"...besides, I got to join this neat club and register on this forum!

Now this my friends is an example of "drop dead" beautiful C5. A classic white convertible with red interior plus all the right mods. It's perfect.

Stinger - I'd have to agree with you on your C4 Sports car thought. Once you climb down into one it wraps right around you. You definetly don't get that feel with the C5's. On the other hand the C5's are absolutely great on a long trip and they go like the devil.
