Help! C6 NPP Exhaust stuck open

Any ideas on how to fix this? I have Mild2Wild and when it stopped working (always open) I removed the Mild2Wild and replaced 10A fuse. The exhaust still will not close. Any help would be appreciated.
 
....and this is a problem....why?..........:D My first guess is the fuse but maybe the linkage is messed up somehow.......someone will have an answer I'm sure.....good luck with it..

I saw one post that showed the vacuum line towards the read of the car was close to the exhaust and had melted a hole in the line so it wouldn't close.

Thanks I will check the lines, I did check the valves and I am able to open and close with my finger.
 
Check the fuse again and make sure it is good.

Then check for vacuum leaks starting with the line coming out of the firewall in front of the driver. I've heard of this line being chaffed through over the top of the bell housing. Leaks in the vacuum line can happen above the muffler as noted.

Also, the actuator on one of the mufflers can fail and cause the leak that makes it stay loud. That's what happened to my '13 427. The dealer had to replace the whole muffler! Good thing warranty covered it.

Btw, for Mild2Wild to work and switch to the quiet mode, the system has to have a vacuum to the actuators. My guess is that there's nothing wrong with your Mild2Wild system that fixing the vacuum / actuators wouldn't cure.

Amazing GM. They don't service the exhaust actuators separately??
Good grief.

You can remove them, so it must just be too costly to stock the parts.

As for the valves "stuck" open...you've got a vacuum leak somewhere or a problem with one of the solenoids in the system. The diagnostic procedure to find it is 3 1/2 pages in the Service Manual and may require a scan tester. Look under the back of the car at the parts of the vac. hoses you can see. Make sure they're connected and have no leaks.

From there, if you have the FSM, a tester and you're a DIY, follow the book's procedures. If you're not, I'd take it to the dealer.
