That's right, Jim Dunne has apparently caught the first C6 spy shots and they aired tonight on Detroit Action News at 11PM.

We'll be seeing it VERY soon!

Did anyone get a look at the news tonight? I'm not in Detroit.

It might be of the one I saw at the plant but it had TONS of cammo om it.

Nope.

It was a pair of white ones (both coupe and vert) with some front and rear camo at an offramp in detroit. Supposedly it showed quite a bit of detail.

WELL.......... Let's see some PIC's man!!!;shrug

So when C6 is launched, it's going to be coupe and convertible? What about the higher performing Z model?

Like I said, "I'm not in Detroit" eg I didn't see them.

I'm sure someone did, so hopefully they Tivo'ed it or something. If they've been broadcast on the news I'm guessing we'll see them very soon.

Not sure on that one. I've heard the Z won't come out until later, but I doubt any of us here can be sure about these things.

Sightings

I saw one in the Victory Supermarket parking lot in Townsend Massachusetts. And Elvis was driving it.

Do you believe me now?;)

Color me unimpressed

I saw the spy shots over at the other forum, and I must say, not too impressed. I will echo what many are saying, and that is, "C5.5". Not a bad looking car, but it lacks the reach the hype was building. I also thought it would have a few more C3 cues, so I suppose that had me a bit upset. All in all, with 9 months left, I guess anything could happen. I suppose the spy shots could be the test mules in C5 garb with different bumpers... It looks like I will have to keep updating the C3 I have if I want a "modern" C3... :beer

You guys knocking the design based on these pictures must have x-ray vision. There is more foam on one end one of those cars than in all the bras at a high school prom night. If you really want the information available from these pics, blow them up and inspect the little things. Lighten the shots until you see edges. Then comment on what you see. Not what you don't / can't possibly see.

The ass is still too big!:L

They keep saying the fixed headlights are for performance reasons . I say BULLCRAP ! They're simply cheaper to manufacture ! Cliff

I dunno...:confused :confused :confused :confused

Heres' my guess...these are modified C-5s...thrown out in the public light in order to take the heat off the real deal. My guess is that the new car will be a radical departure from what we know.... and certainly from what we see here. These are spy shots are of a car that doesn't exist....

Here's my guess. Your guess is as good as mine!!!

Not quite enough.....

JMHO, I think it's a teaser.....

It looks too close to the C5. :nono
Think back, each model over the years was quite different from the last, but.......

C3 - 82, had the C4 - 84 engine/drivetrain, etc....

This could be a modified C5, w/ C6 stuff,
but without the "FINAL LOOK"
:Steer :v :Steer

Boys Boys Boys... repete after me That IS a real C6 and not some sort of C5! Thats a C6 Guys its maybe not what you thought it was going to be but THATS IT! Think of it as an improved C5. I have been telling you this for months now its not an all new car!The only reason anything was done to it at all at this time is because it had to be moved to the Cadillac frame and wheel base.

Okay, from the bean counter standpoint, that was a good move. But as from the car enthusiast standpoint, that really sucks. If people just wanted a "C5.5" with a little more power, they can save themselves the money and buy some mods for their current C5. Like I said before about GM, "You just buy what we build."
