Ok seriously how do you think the C6 wheels 18" would look on a 93 C4.

Just a survey. Thinking of doing this but don't want to take away the looks.
Just a note there not on the Vette yet, going to look at these wheels this Sat. and for the money of new wheels and tire's i would like to hear peoples opions.
I'll try to get a better pic up..
Thanks in ADV.

My guess is great. I think Da Hawaiian Punch was ordering some for his. You should PM him.

BTW...How much for those rotors and what size F1's are you running?
I got a quote from DT for (4) 285/40/17's installed for $1007.70 total.
Whatdya think?

BTW...again...Your car looks great! :D

I've been thinking about the same thing. The bad part is just over a year ago (16 months ?) I just got repro 2000 C5 rims and new Firestone Firehawk SZ-50's, which I love but they no longer make. I bet I don't have 5K miles on them and I know from experience that these tires will last for a while.

My 2K rims are the stock '90 size 17 x 9.5 but they don't exactally fit the wheel well. I've been playing with the idea of going to 18 x 9's in front and 19 x 10's in the rear. The only thing is tire fitment .... there aren't a lot of choices, and the ones available are outrageously priced.

I think they would look good for what its worth.

Same setup as you i paid $800.00 installed and rollen. The rotor's i got for f&r at $260.00 w/shipping to the door. I also installed ceramic pads as well.

On a sec note thank you so much for that fix on the old "SYS" light it was your advise that resolved this. I put the Vette away last winter with this problem just after i installed an aftermarket Stereo and i got to say this bothered me all winter know i had no clue how to approch the fix. Thank You...

Well maybe i have a slite advanage. I have over the years like about 10.. I have one mechanic who does everything and is the only one allowed to drive the Vette. getting back to the point Belle Tire, and i have four cars and i have sent alot of business his way. i mean alot. Not trying to sound cocky but concider the trade off here a great deals package for one customer or loss thousands of dollars in revenue.Plus we have become great friends over the years and i can't see anyone else working on my cars. I wish i could ship u a set but shipping cost would add to this...

Good for you man! :upthumbs

I guess I can't complain cuz the ZFDoc is my personal mechanic (Phx :D ) and he's a hot commodity. BUT HE CAN'T GET ME A DEAL LIKE THAT ON TIRES!:mad
A grand for all 4 mounted isn't bad though.

Update yesterday stop by and took a look at the C6 wheels "dang" they look awesome. Now the dilemma is last season i bought the F1's as u see for $800 their 17". The C6 wheels are 18" and will need a set of rubber to boot. Toyo with the same tread pattern. My cost C6 wheels and tires 1800.00 out the door.

Dilemma to sell the ZR-1 wheels with new tires with less then 2000 miles on them. Rims aren’t bad but rears are showing some pitting. Question what do you guys think there worth in a fair price. I want to find someone that would be happy with them but also know that the price will be more set around the tires then the rims. As for Pic's yesterday sorry they were too busy to mount a couple.

The other dilemma is the rotors will look real small behind these 18's. Sorry for long story but everyone's feedback is welcome.

Thank you

I'd love to take those tires off your hands for a fair price but I don't need the rims. Are they 275's or 285's? Rotors too! :D

are your rear rims 11's or 9.5's? jefnlsa can have the tires and depending on the size i'll take the rims.

It was a little dim hard to see but this is what i have

Fronts = 255/45/ZR17 on 8.5" Rims
Rears = 285/40/ZR17 on 9.5" Rims

Hope this helps out...

Thanks

I have a few pics of my '89 coupe with C6 wheels if someone could post them for me. They are 19" rears with 18" fronts.

Thanks,
Dino

I thought the ZR1 style wheels came in either 9.5" or 11"...:confused

With those mixed tire sizes, that kinda explains the $800 out the door price you paid a bit better. (although still a great deal)

The rims where on the car when i bought it and here anyway the price difference between 9.5 or 8.5 is basically a few bucks. The Factory Saw blades that came with the Vette are same size 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. So maybe the guy i bought it from just followed that template. These wheels could very well be from Mid America; I do see them in the catalog. So i don't really think thats why i got the for $800

My guess is that your front wheels are 9.5" as well. They just installed the factory size tires on the fronts and rears cuz that is what the stock sizes are: 285/40/17 rear & 255/45/17 front.

With 9.5's (which I have) all the way around you should have all 4 tires the same size: usually 275/40/17's but 285's will work as well.
