Has anyone else had a problem with the front of the hood sinking in slightly but enough that its noticable? Its on the right passenger side, at the hinge. It may just be an adjustment, not sure. The rubber seal doesnt allways lay flat under hood as well, it seems to be half in half out sometimes. I need to bring it to a dealer for warrenty, and also I plan to have them do something about my unshiney wheels. I have a feeling for the wheels, Ill need to bring out my kitty claws.:SLAP

The hood IS out of alignment and I doubt that it is sinking! Your dealer can repair that. The wheels are a different issue. They cannot do anything about the lousy finish on the so-called "polished wheels"!

Hi Bill,
Yes you are correct about my hood. But it is sinking. Doubt not..Merriam-webster dictionary ---sinking--To fall or drop to a lower place or level or to slope gradually. Yes, this is what it is doing from being out of alignment. Sinking. :) Wink

Hi Tracy!
I guess I view the word "sinking" as a verb and I cant imagine that your hood is actually "on the move"!! My hood was also out of alignment and the dealer took care of it.

I demand nothing and defer to you. After all, you are in the drivers seat!!!!

HI there,
Sometimes, with heat expansion and cold contraction, the panels throughout the car may change ever so slightly.
Adjustments of every body panel are indicated in GM service information.
It is not a big deal, and should only take about an hour.
Allthebest, c4c5
