C7 Navigation Settings

Do you all have buildings on your 3D settings on your Nav or just the streets and points of interest? I saw on one of the forums that we should have buildings literally but I just have streets and I do have the 3D box checked. Any ideas?

I looked at the C7 knowledge base page and entered the instrument page that describes the various settings: "sport, tour etc.
Anyway they showed buildings in the instrument cluster when in nav mode.

I could not get buildings on the main Nav screen.
I have not tried the center instrument cluster. I will today.

I don't live near the "Big City". University of North Carolina has some 12 story buildings and they are 8 miles away.
My nav shows no buildings in 3D where I am.

In 3D it did show rain off in the distance, and rain in 2D mode.
Maybe someone else can help, but I will keep playing with all the different mode screens.

Not specifically sure about the new Vette's nav, but I do know that, generally, navigation system maps don't always feature 3D in all locations....usually big cities that have a lot of big buildings, if the map provider has spent the time rendering the 3D models.

Thanks! I am kinda in a rural area so if I go into Houston I may check to see if I can get some buildings...not a big deal. It will probably be a distraction anyway, I was just wondering why I couldn't get them and another person on the forum had them. Happy New Year!
