What an incredible find! Is this made of clay? The casters (wheels) imply that it is mounted on some sort of cart.

I believe its foam and fiberglass.

Interesting item indeed...I knew it had come over from Germany in a bit of dis-repair. It was refurbsihed and sold for a nice chunk of change a few years back. Did not know to whom it was sold until now. Here is a pic of the buck in Germany by me in 1998. Followed with a pic of the buck in the US (unfinished) and finally the re-finished buck.

Last time I saw this was at Bloomington Gold auction 2004? I don't remember but think it sold for around $4,000 Neat item but would take extra garage space I didn't have. Can see why some of the big collectors would like!
