C8 transmission

New 2023 HTC with only 534 miles had check engine light come on. Was told it needs complete transmission replacement but dealer says none available from GM. Anyone have ideas on where to go from here? Obviously GM knows about this based on TSB.

C8 Transmissions aren't something GM normally stocks, however, your dealer should open up a GM TechLine case. Once GM approves replacement, the new transmission should show up at the dealership within a week.

The only issue I've seen come up recently is related to the 2024 Z06:

Certain 2024 Corvette Z06 vehicles, equipped with an 8-cylinder, 5.5 Liter engine, (RPO LT6), may have a condition in which the automatic shift to park function may not work under certain rare and unique conditions.

My 2024 Stingray has a transmission whine when cruising between 55-60, quite noticeable. Dealership won’t replace it, says GM has "acceptable" noise level cutoff point for this issue, and mine is under that.
