CAC Member in a Car Magazine?

Has anyone here on the CAC ever had his or her car in a Car Magazine?

Our very own Callaway Moderator Chris (*89x2*), had his red Vette in one of the rags. I forget which.

Yep, Feb 03, March 03, and a Q&A section in April 03 for Vette Magazine with my 69.

The feature was March 03. Feb was a small pic of Mike Yager presenting his celebrity choice award to me at BG. The April issue was a follow up feed back section where readers had e-mailed Vette with questions about the cars (tire/wheels, electric headlight conversion, etc).

It is an awesome feeling.

I had the article laminated in a special board for display on my wall in the house, and a spare to prop up by the car at shows.

I can't say my car was in any mag, but I did have a question and answer in Corvette Fever published once.

Yep Ken, Corvette Fever did a feature on the Callaway last June - OUr other Callaway has been in Corvette Quarterly when she was Christened, later on in Vette and most recently in Corvette Enthusiast

HELLO, tho not a corvette, i have been fortunate to have a motorcycle i built in one american magazine, two british mags and featured in a book also. unfortunately the owner somehow forgot the 700 hours i put into it.
but i enjoyed just know what i created..

My former Corvette, a 1988 yellow convertible lovingly known as "LemonPeel" and I were in Corvette Fever a couple of years ago in their annual "Diva" issue.

One of the Cobras I built had a feature and buildup article in the May, 1995 issue of KIT CAR, and the tube-frame Grand Sport I built was featured in the November, 1997 issue of "Vette" and had an 8-page feature and buildup article in the March, 1998 issue of KIT CAR. It's neat seeing your car in print

I see that you are from Connecticut also. We live in Enfield.

Our cars have been fortunate enough to appear in a few magazines. It's always interesting to see how the writer develops the article and how it turns out. They usually aren't willing to give you editorial privileges. :L
