Just give Joanne Mercer or Mike Vendetto a call at Callaway 860-434-9002 and they can make it happen!

You'll love the Aerobody.

Like Shop said, Callaway has them -

I have not seen a crated "new" (used) one in a couple years - they turn up, but not often...

Got a car in mind???

1990 callaway

yes iwill a car on wens from what i understand the aero kit installed should be 10k its almost not worth it because aeros i the highh 30-40k range?? however after wathing Ritchie win those 4 callways on Barrett it appeared it was more of an investment then a passion purchase.......just a matter of time until these cars get recognizes for the limited factory ordered production vettes thay are all the rare 60's big hp vettes were over 100k .....so the aero body could be a very good investment if callaway does some new tt's that will shed some light also

1990 #24

yes i finally went out to NJ to pick it up , a big difference from the 1987 tt owned . The evening i brought it home there was alot of traffic so it was difficult to let her loose . The 87 turbos spooled up much quicker with considerably less thrust . First gear in the 1990 is unimpressive however once shift to second and hit 2500 rpm and floor it the tires smoke to you shift to third and pulls straight to 140ish with equal thrust WOW(i want to keep my licence) anyway the original gatorbacks have to go i'm going with a new set of goodyear F1 GS-D3 's http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Eagle+F1+GS-D3 they have that unidirection look and are supposed to be the best of the best from Goodyear , also it seems to be running a little on the warm side i ordered a custom Ron Davis aluminum radiator
http://www.rondavisradiators.com/Radiators.htm my next step is the shifter that factory shifter has to go any suggestions ????I don't want to miss a shift while those turbos are spooled up.
A special thanks to the previous owner David he's a gentlemen and a real corvette guy he had a new Z06 2004 , he had taken outstanding maintenance of the vehicle sending it back to Callaway a year before just to go thru it (10 hours of labor) fixing anything the could find} I'll post some pics soon . Another thank you to member Aurora he really beat the car up a little on the forum the car needs some weatherstriping but where are you going to find an original owner RED car with every bit of paperwork garaged since new with no stories 45 minutes from your house that the owner sent back to callaway to have the wonderbar and hood blisters installed($4500) ???. How many
1990 's can there be like this?? One last note I bought a Carrera s4 cabriolet at the same time I love corvettes and will covet my Callaway ..........if theres one other car a Callaway owner should own its a Porsche its the smoothest most perfect machine that you can drive at 7000 rpm all day long.

When is that Carlisle event

Kind of an odd thing to say... I thought my impression of the car might be useful to other people. I don't believe I "beat up" on it. Just gave my opinion, not to mention photos of things like the cracked paint and such. I also mentioned the car seemed nice mechanically, the owner was very nice, and he was not hesitant to take it to Callaway for repairs and maintenance. I basically described my experience. I guess I thought people might appreciate that... :confused ;shrug

I hope you enjoy your time with it, it seemed like a great driver. Putting an Aerobody and repaint on it and it'll be pretty much perfect. :upthumbs

Also, thank you for buying it. I keep thinking about it, as it drove great and the view over the hood from the drivers seat is amazing. Now I won't keep contemplating it... :)

I've got both the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3s and the Ron Davis Aluminum radiator. I give them both a big :upthumbs

I've also got a B&M Ripper Shifter sitting in the box waiting for the trans to come out for a new clutch. I bought it when it first came to market. I've heard it's a bit on the stiff/high effort side and also hard to set up so it does not rattle. I think people seem to prefer the Hurst version. Sorry no personal experience...

I cut a set of thin plastic washers to "shim" the play out of the assembly on the install I recently did w/ that brand shifter on a ZF6

It seemed to do the trick -

Hope this helps - C.
