Once again on behalf of the Callaway Owners Group I've headed out to the LA Auto Show to bring you a few pictures of the Callaway booth and news regarding what is new for the 2008 C16 Model Year.
If you have not recently visited the Callaway Cars website, please take a look http://www.callawaycars.com
For 2008, Callaway has standardized the components which make up a C16. Beginning with 2008 (LS3), the C16 brings more power (~650HP), and comes standard the Lemans Brake Kit, Suspension, Dymag Wheels, and Deutschleder interior.
Remaining options include:
-Custom Paint Color
-Sport Bucket Seats
-Matched Luggage
This make the process easier for both the customer and Callaway, the base car is included, and the C16 contains the fundamental features which were meant to function together.
Callaway is still validating their specs and pricing but keep your eyes peeled to their website.
Interest for the Supercharged cars and C16's remains high.
This years booth is in the Atrium on the right side of the mid-level. The glass walls and high ceilings bring in lots of light and EVERYONE passes through this area as they come into the convention center and as they change halls. It was kind of interesting hear Media people point to the Speedster and say something like "there it is".
I have to run but enjoy a couple of pics!!
