I was just curious if someone knows any info regarding any possible future Callaway-C6 (new Corvette) project. I really hope they spearhead a kit for that ride. Its a beautiful ride but I strongly believe Mr. Deutschman can enhance its overall look.

I've emailed Paul Deutschman several times but he doesn't return emails. Anyone have any luck with him.

Nobody has their hands on a C6 yet, or would this be a C13???
cause the Supernatural corvette's hold the Callaway "C number" of C6 already ;)

I do know that Callaway Cars is currently in the process of obtaining one for R&D work (A Corvette C6) and will shift it's gears to offer a product lineup for that model as they currently have one for the C5 series cars.

Speaking of the C5 series cars, Paul Deutchman had his hand in the line-up for that... His creativity can be seen on the optional bodywork "filler panel" for the exhaust for the C5's - IMO, it is the sharpest exhaust out there :upthumbs

On past projects he has done things in a way that has continued to cement their relationship and I too hope to see his work on the Callaway C6 Corvette line.

Hope this helps :m

Chris, do you have some pictures you can post on the C5 exhaust inspired and designed my Mr. Deutschman. I believe I haven't seen that one. (maybe)

I really hope Callaway does get their hands on a C6 for R&D, who knows they might hit another grandslam homerun and come up with a new Aerobody kit that represents the true look of the new Corvette.

I might have to repaint my ride again next year to that gorgeous looking Daytona Sunset Orange that you see currently the C6 in at the LA Auto show. That hue ranks in my personally top five favorite hues of all time! Its was long overdue for GM to release an orange hue for America's Premier Sports Car.

Take care everyone.....

What do you think??

I must of overlooked the first time you sent it out. The filler piece does fill the space in there nicely.

Chris, thought I ask you but you might know this before I call Callaway but why don't they become a sponsor and have their site posted on CAC. Just appears that Callaway doesn't want to affiliate themselves with other prominent Corvette sites. I find that strange................Whats your take?

Johnny

Chris,

I took pictures of the Callaway exhaust installed on the silver C5 in the booth at Carlisle 2003. I am in California at the moment and don't have my handheld diskdrive handy or I would post that picture too. Can you find it and post it.

Thanks!

I sure hope Callaway offers the C6 Callaway package in stages like they did for the Supernatural. That sure helps those of us whose money tree has wilted lately. It seems that they have sold so few C5 ->C12 cars because of the all or nothing package approach.

Anyone have insight into the thinking on the C6 Callaway marketing?

They have a complete line of motor mods for the C5 that you can purchase . They offer everything from a new air intake to a full blown motor with 550 hp. Head and cam packages headers ect There are a lot of products available for the C5 .They had a Callaway modded Z06 at Carlilse it was Sharp.

Thanks for the info....guess I should have paid closer attention. I have 2 C4s so I had not paid close attention to the C5 offerings. But I understand there is only a few C12s that received the body kit and to me that is Callaway's advertising bonus. The engines are wonderful but hidden to the spectators eyes until the dust flys.
