Callaway Owners & Enthusiasts, here is an opportunity to submit your best photographs for consideration to have your image, or a part of it, used on the upcoming Callaway Event at the National Corvette Museum's (C4) Corvette Event, May 3-5, 2007 :cool

Here are the details:

A Callaway related image was decided upon for the face of the event credential, as "Twenty Years of Callaway Corvettes," has been selected as the theme this year :cool

While the whole image might not be used, a feature was suggested, to highlight the Callaway Corvette, and the icon that it is. It is best to submit an entire picture and let the museum art dept. handle the cropping, as they have an in house team just for this type of work :cool

The backside of the credential, will feature the three logos of the groups as shown on the NCM event page for this, along with YOUR chosen itinerary for the event.

Maybe a Dymag wheel, an intercooler duct or scoop, engine shot, or??? would work best, who knows... :upthumbs Let's have some fun with this!

The deadline for this will be THIS SUNDAY NIGHT (1/14/2007), MIDNIGHT (EST), as the images will then be forwarded to the art dept. for final review.

Please send your original HIGH RES. image(s) here

Thank you to those who have sent in their images for this design opportunity :cool

Also, I learned today about some interesting items for the auction at the Bowling Green event :cool This is shaping up to a "must attend" show :cool

Also, we made (the NCM) news :cool

NCM News said:
Join us at the C4 Gathering

A special display of Callaway Corvettes and Callaway owners will be part of this year’s C4 Gathering scheduled for May 3-5.

The Gathering event focuses on the C4 model – but is open to all enthusiasts who enjoy the excitement of autocross, informative seminars, bidding on unique collectibles and the thrill of being with other owners who share the Corvette passion. Find out more and make plans to join us by registering online at: http://www.corvettemuseum.com/registration/gathering/info.shtml

So, can you share or is it a secret?

Jon, they are items that will come directly from this event. It should be noted that Dave McLellan has attended this event in the past and it would be interesting to hear his memories of the B2K program & the era :cool

Folks, just a quick update on this -

The photos, all of them, have been forwarded to the art dept. at the museum for review - they will make the decision on this and we'll see in time what they come up with :cool
- Thank you again to those who sent in their pictures :cool

Also sent in, were images relating to a 1987 "NACA B2K," an 89 AeroBody, and a 91 w/ out a roof ;) for use in an event T-Shirt. While the design for that is up in the air, hopefully, multiple Callaways can be used to showcase the series for this neat keepsake from the show. :upthumbs

More info, as it becomes avail. :beer

...and the winner is ~

Congrats to the owner of the 1990 Callaway Twin Turbo AeroBody car, whose Aero side gill panel/wheel photo was selected for this event credential photo card.

There is also a referance of the Speedster on the back side of the card which will have your printed itinerary :upthumbs
