Chris,

What were some other noticeable differences from the prototype Aerobody kit prior to Callaway/Deutschman finalizing on the overall kit look? Nice to see a Callaway represent in 1/4 with low 11's!! Do we have any members here hitting 10's...........anyone?

Johnny

The biggest difference was in the nose panel - the 4 openings above the "rub strip" were more squared w/ out the little flare like the production versions have. It was also to be made of GE Xenoy, a light, flexable material however, the production versions were hard fiberglass. The prototype cars had darkened turn lenses and a lower lip "spiler" that was black, other than that, the rest of the details were close.

The Sledgehammer, which of course wears the first Aerobody, had metal side gills installed and the lower rocker piece was all one part including the side gill panel.

Johnny, I agree - A Callaway B2K in the 10's pretty much shuts down the nonsense that "brand xyz's" aftermarket turbo Vette is faster :eyerole Of course there will always be a faster car but these were designed to be many things including, emissions compliant to the Federal level, carry a factory warranty, and of course, produce the elevated power levels :upthumbs

Awesome machine!!!!!!! :v
