{Callaway} Installing a shift knob on a ZF6 speed

Ted must know you pretty well. I have been trying to get the Callaway Cursive Logo Fuel Injector Covers and some extra center caps for my wheels for months with no luck. GROUP BUY?! If anyone can get them to do it I'm in. Just the item has been discontinued reply is all I receive.

I bought my wheels directly from Ted Rice at Callaway (big $$) August of 2000 as he said it was the last set they had. He really took care of me on these wheels...I had been looking for a long time. Since then I have managed to buy another set and a half (I have 10 on hand) for backups.

Dave SeCaur pampered my car at Final Finish with a complete refresh. Other options include the floor mats, car cover, cups, shirts etc. from Joanne Mercer. Engine LT4 SNAT 450 from Jim Jones, Coil Overs with FX3 from Wayne McCurdy, Brembo brakes, Borla Exhaust CAT back, B&M short throw shifter, hard and soft top, etc.

I love this car but I rarely get the chance to drive it as I travel quite frequently.

Shopview, By Callaway Cursive Covers, you mean for the fuel rails?? The ones on my Supernatural were autographed by Reeves when the car was constructed and is not a decal or scan - it is his actual, definitive signature :cool

I was thinking about the carbon fiber covers and have discussed this with Ted. Looks like two or 3 others might be interested and if so, they would produce a run of them - The Carbon fiber parts are made over at their facility in Germany.

re: the center caps for the wheels, I understand that the center caps from other C4 wheels will fit. I have seen a set of our Run Flat wheels with the "ZR1" style center caps installed and didn't look bad at all - you could then "save" your original caps elsewhere...
I was considering doing this with a set of Ruby caps from a 93, as our SNAT is a Ruby 93 'Vert (Hardtop, FX3 w/ coilovers, runflats, center exhaust, etc... )

I think that would look nice - esp. since the 93's in Ruby had those caps from Bowling Green - what do you think??

Enjoy your Callaway, she looks GREAT!!!!!! Do you have any more pics?? :beer

I'm in on carbon fiber covers with the cursive Callaway logo for sure!

I have 1 set of the Callaway center caps that are pristine so I keep them in the garage and use the not so perfect set the rest of the time. Your correct that any Corvette center caps fit. I just wanted to get a 2nd oringinal clean set :( like these

I'm travelling but when I get home I'll send a few more pics

Thanks for the warm welcome

Mark, I thought about popping my caps on my 93 Supernatural and putting a set of Ruby Red ones like it would have left Bowling Green with - How do you think that would look :confused

Which wheels are on your car? The ruby red caps were nice looking...

BTW, You seem to have some contacts at Callaway willing to go the extra mile. Any change of getting a run of the Bridgestone style caps made with just the Callaway cursive logo? Or any idea who I could send my second set to to have them restored?

I don't know about another run, as they were made by someone other than Callaway Cars :(

I have used Ye Ole Wheel Shop in MD for wheel refinishing before and they do great work, only problem would be the word Bridgestone, and getting it back on the cap :confused

Sorry I don't have more :v

Wow...that is a beautiful car! The ruby ones will pop right in and they would look great.
I run the regular C4 corvette logo center caps around on mine so my one "as new" Callaway/Bridgestone set of caps do not "walk off". I keep the Callaway one's in the vault :) . I wish we could find out who made them. I could do without the Bridgestone logo if necessary.....just want the Callaway logo. I have a spare set and 1/2 of runflat rims in the garage too just in case anything happened but 4 of those have the center cap stickers scratched or peeling. I tried to find out from Callaway who made them but I never get a reply:(

Thank you for the compliments :beer

I am wondering if Callaway could adapt their alumn. caps for the RW wheels to our Runflats :confused They are very nice and have Callaway Machined into them. Would that be a adequate substitute??

Looking forward to those addl. pics of your car :m

I don't see why that wouldn't work....do you have a picture of them?

Those would work! I still wish we knew who made the stickers on the orginals so I could send my 2nd set to them for refurb....but I would buy a set of these also

could you have a graphics shop make the Bridgestone decals off a scan from a tire ad from them??

Just thinking out loud here ;)

Yes, you can. A friend of mine had that done with a set of used OZ wheels he purchased

Sure I could...I have a completely pristine set of the Callaway cursive with Bridgestones that I could have copied but I did not want to "upset" Callaway by copying them. I have talked to Bridgestone and they discontinued the wheel over 7 years ago so they said they no longer had an issue with copying them. I thought Callaway would be willing to either make spare parts or send us to the original vendor if Callaway was not interested in the sale...maybe I'm wrong as I can not get my emails / phone calls returned from them about these minor parts.
