the damage is minor....but you would have to find a glass company to reproduce the back piece. I suppose that could get a little pricey.

How could a 3400 mile car have those types of issues?

Keep in mind tht last weekend, the black one sold for $102,500

It had the Speedster interior, the Blue one does not.
It had no damage to the body & glass, this one does.
It was in Florida, not South America :ugh Bid wisely

Being that its located in Cali, Colombia, I'm not surprised. In Colombia, I've been to Bogota, Cali, Cartagena, and Medellin. "Some" of the roads in Medellin are ok but in the other cities, huge pot holes (no pun intended) are all over the place, more common than parking meters in downtown Boston. The front aerobody nose damage could easily be attributed to hitting one of these.

The rear glass damage is a true pitty... :cry

Aside from the car being out of the country, seeing that the seller has been an e-bay member since Nov-27-02 and has 0 feedback, would make me nervous in bidding. But I would love to see it in my garage.

:cool This is my favorite color of the speedster but I'm on a no buy program :cry So no speedster for me. Would be cool to see someone in the COG group end up with the car and bring it back to pristine condition.

...well, there are a few folks on here I know are interested in the car - what is also interesting is to see the 4 or 5 Callaway Corvettes on e-bay for sale and ALL are often bid on by the same people... :ugh

Looking back at the past cars too, even the wrecked '87 was bid on by some bidding on these cars - 87's, 89's, Speedsters - who knows the rhyme or reason to bid on such a wide variety of cars :confused
