Cam 2

CAM 2 Fuel Guys has anyone used this ??? It is Sunoco racing fuel. Any help:)

Your car was built to achieve full performance on 91 octane. (snip)

Welll....
That's true kinda-sorta. It is true that in 96 GM still calibrated for 91-oct gas but the engine will run detonation free on 91 only in moderate weather. If it's hot out and you're running hard, if you take data, you'll see at WOT you'll get knock retard. In my testing with my 95, in hot weather I needed about 94.5-oct to stay free of detonation.

I just run Sunoco 93 all the time. NO knock retard even on a 90 degree day at least not according to my scan tool data.

Granted I have a LT1 with 10.5:1 not the 10.8:1 of the LT4.
