cam bearings?

Ok... forgive my ignorance, but does a camshaft have replaceable bearings? I haven't seen any in the catalogs, but I imagine they must have something even if it's similar to a crank bearing.
Just looking for anything else I should be replacing when the cam's done...

I would recommend leaving the Cam bearings alone. Not normally replaced with a simple cam change. You would have to pull the engine to replace them and a very special tool to insert them very carefully.
 
Cam Bearings

Reference to replacing cam bearings, I agree, if, you are not removing the engine and overhauling same, I would leave the cam bearing alone and just install a new cam. I over hauled my 1981 Vette and had the engine shop install new cam bearings, it is a specialized job. Doc
