Ive got an 86 that I would like to get the AC to blow out the vents only. Right now in auto its the same as having it in Bi level. Just wondering if there are any tricks to the AC controls? Also what would make the ABS light stay on all the time? Thanks

Misdirected HVAC is usually caused by a vacuum leak somewhere.

If the ABS light stays on all the time it's probably a damaged/disconnected sensor on the wheels, but could be a lot of other things. There's a special ABS diagnostic routine that is similar to the ECM diagnostic. It will tell you where the problem is.

Thanks Ill look into the ABS. My cruise control isnt working so I may have a vacuum problem. Ill check it out when I put my new engine in next weekend.
