Can't find interior part for my 96 CE LT1

Looking for the little pop-up door for the driver side door, it covers a small storage area ( mainly my Grandsons treasures) I need a black one. Have tried several places and most have it if I spend the $450 for the door panel. Its a spring loaded door that just lifts up.
Any help would be appreciated.

PS had a great drive to LegoLand Calif couple of weeks ago with my grandson during his spring break, but 2 days there with a 7 year old is tiring.

Try a salvage yard. I bought the cover only from a dealer a few years ago.

Did you call 20th street auto parts there in Phx? Ask larry.

next would be J&D corvette in the LA area. They both do salvage/restoration and new.

if it comes down to buying a new piece, Gulf Coast corvette in Houston will have the best new price.
