I purchased my 72 Corvette with a car cover included. Over time the cover has become a little dirty. There are no instructions included for washing instructions. Can anyone tell me how to wash this car cover? The cover appears to be for use indoors only.

Thanks,

Thanks,
If it's a flannel you can just throw it in the washer, and wash it like you would anything else. I take mine to the laundramat and use their heavy duty washer and dryers.

If it's not a flannel, I would was it as I described above, but air dry it.
Hope this helps. - John

Be careful, I have a Wolf and it got wet outdoors. I took it to a commercial laundry and it shrunk. I did get it replaced under warranty.

John, Thanks for the reply. Do you do anything special with the dryer settings to avoid shrinking the cover?

No, I just do mine with normal settings - but you have to leave it in there for at least an hour.
Remember though, I'm talking about "flannel" car covers. I wouldn't recommend putting one of those outside covers in the dryer - I'd hang it. -John
