Has anyone used car dollys to move there cars, any suggestions on brands, weight of cars would be 1964 and 1967 corvette and 1967 chevelle.

Yea, I use them. They are great! I believe mine are called
Car Skates, and have a decent weight rating since my old
Birds weigh over 4000 lbs each. Seems like they were about
$180. They come in handy for many other uses too....i.e.
when I'm dropping an engine in a car, I have the car up on the skates, and the engine on the hoist....once I've got the engine
down in the engine bay area, and have to adjust a tad to get lined up with the cross member/motor mounts, it's very very nice and convenient to be able to move the car to the engine, and not have to move the engine hoist.

Lots of companies make them....as with any tool, there are cheap ones and more expensive ones....you get what you pay for.

I bought a set of four through Harbor Freight for around $125. I like 'em; they're very sturdy and are equipped with large steel wheels which makes for easy rolling. :upthumbs

Is cost an issue?

If not, the best thing on the market is the Go-Jack dolly system.

I also have car skates, and they worked great while I had a smooth concrete floor. Since I put down a textured surface on my garage floor, the wheels don't roll well at all when loaded, so I've stopped using them.
