car won't start, HELP!

The car started 2 days ago and ran REALLY bad! Smelled awful, stumbled, etc. Then it finally died. I saw that out of the fuel vapor canister there was gas coming out of it.

Now the car won't start at all. It sounds like its beig choked!

HELP!!! I don't really know where to go from here!

What did it smell like? ...My first thought was clogged catalytic converter. Did you check for codes?

no codes. when i try to start it now i get smoke out the back when it cranks that smells horrible, wish i could describe the smell better. Smoke is white also. Checked oil for and coolant, none.
