Carlisle and back..

Went to Carlisle this past Thursday. Left from south of Boston which would be about 440 miles one way, not including the in town driving just the highway portion of the trip, the BB got 15.8 MPG....I was happy with that. Being the only midyear in our caravan....I had to refuel twice as often as they did....hahahahahahaha

Which Big-Block is in your car and what's your axle ratio?

single four bbl...390 with a mild comp cam, 520 lift....with 3:36 gears and 215x75x15 tires....great traveling combo...no probs in over 15 yrs...knock on wood

My '71 LT-1 had 3.36's (411's originally) and didn't get anywhere near 15 miles per gallon on the highway.
