carpet and insulation

hello. has anyone here used the original insulation? my carpet is on way and I pulled my old to find the insulation is not so great. im going to order new I guess but what are you all using?

If I recall correctly the carpet came with new insulation. I also put down Reflectix that I purchased from Lowes. Made a big difference in cabin heat.

I did the same as Bob when I did mine over!!!!

I put down Ensolite sound deadner I got from mid america and then covered that with Reflectix insulation I got from home depot. The difference is substantial. My son asked if I got a new radio because of how much better the acoustics got in the car. Much Cooler too!!!
