CCM

Can someone tell me some good info regarding CCM
1. CAN USED ONE BE REPROGRAMMED
2. WHAT ARE SOME ISSUE THAT COULD BE MASKED AS CCM GOING BAD.
3. WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU REPLACE AND DO NOT REPROGRAM

I do not believe an old one can de reprogramed it would be to easy to change milage. I do not know what would be masked but a lot of body control functions would be messed up and the car may not even start I think it would be apparent. If you do not reprogram within 100 miles it will set a default milage and you will not be able to correct it a new module will be needed if you want the correct milage to read on the odometer correctly
