LT4 CE LT4 caliper color?

Hi everyone, I purchased my 1996 CE LT4 less than 1 year ago. The calipers are red front and rear. Since then I noticed that some CE's have black calipers. Which is correct, as I am trying to keep her all original? Thanks for your info.

The correct caliper color is black...but many CE owners like to paint them red. I had a 1996 Grand Sport convertible which had black calipers. I had them painted red and loved the pizazz it gave the car.

My 96 CE LT4 wheel...black with white lettering.

The factory letters are not actually white but natural aluminum.

Factory is black/silver aluminum letters.

I did mine in red because it matched the interior and the LT4 under the hood!

If you dont want to hassle with painting them if you prefer Red they make some pretty cool covers (little pricey but looks great I seen a few allready)
