This is probably a dumb question but how is the Center Cap (that covers the wheel locking nut) held on? Three of mine seem really tight but the fourth rattles a little and I don't want it to fall off. Do you just put a screwdriver in the edge and lift it off? I figured I'd leave it alone for now.

Thanks Lucky

They use plastic tabs to hold them in place. I would suggest removing the wheel and popping them out from the inside. I tried the prying thing and only damaged the cap. So I just used the handle of my hammer to push it out from the inside. Hope this helps.

Yes, pushing them out from behind the wheel is your best bet. Giving them a solid (but gentle) hit should pop them out. It can be a pain to take the wheel off just for this, but it's the best way.

If the locking lug is behind the cap how can you take the wheel off?

I thought you were talking about the center cap. The lug nut caps simply spin off to access the lug nuts. There is nothing behind the center cap that holds the wheel on.

Let me wipe the egg of my face.....Like I said......it was a DUMB question.....so the "locking lug" is under one of the lug nut caps and the Center Cap doesn't have to be removed at all......Thanks to all

I pryed mine off to install a gold plated one....but also broke the tangs under it that close the circuit for the horn to work....
Do you know where I can get a replacement?????
Sure would help me, as my horn dosen't work now..
thanks
tony
