My center console cover between the sheets has one edge that is no longer attached to the frame.

It looks like all its needs is some fresh glue, carefully applied.

Anyone know what glue to use, if glueing is the solution?

I took the one apart in the 90 i had and used 3-M spray adhesive on it and it held for a long time. I asked the present owner if it was still ok and his response was yes. At any rate if it's bad enough I have a new one still in a GM box I bought in case my repair job did'nt hold. I still have it and not the car. :w Agi

I have repaired two of those for friends by using two part epoxy glue, and careful clamping until totally dry. Both repairs have held up fine for over a year. The best fix is a new one, but as you know, those are expensive. Don't be aftraid to try a fix. Good luck!

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to try glueing and see what happens.

no1agitator, you said you still have a new center console lid from GM still in the box? Did I understand that right? Will it fit a 1991 Corvette center console? If so, are you willing to sell your lid for a reasonable price? I'm interested if it's not too terribly expensive. email me if you prefer: rogue_biker@cox.net

I bought one of these from Mid America. Easy install and it works fine.

**Andy use body side molding glue made by 3m porducts, it works great I have no problems with my fix.** After glueing tape it together with masking tape and let it sit for a day.

I cut the flaps off and used 2 strips of velcro under the pad.

No flaps, no messy glue.

It never came off and I can take it off anytime.:)
