I know there are plenty of threads regarding this subject and I don't want to beat a dead horse; but after reading so many different opinions about the AW and steel flywheels, I think i'm going with the CF billet steel. My question was if anyone who has installed it had to match balance or do ANYTHING else to the flywheel because of vibration issues etc. I realize a match balance is the best thing, but I haven't been able to find a shop around here willing or able to do it. I'm hoping with the counter balanced billet steel FW and the fact that CF says no additional balancing is necessary, I may be able to get away with a straight clean install. I understand it's recommended on the AW FWs even tho some here have had no problems, but I can't afford down time and a rack tied up for days awaiting a proper balanced FW to arrive. Any experienced opinions are appreciated!

Welp, not a good sign. No replies=no centerforce users. I'm glad I found an alternative.

I've got a centerforce on my C3 with over 30,000 miles with no problems, but everything was put in new flywheel (external balance for 383, clutch and Pressure plate.
