Ceramic brake pads

Has anyone used these? what is the story about ceramic brake pads, are they worth the trouble to install? Will they replace the standard pads? Is it true you get no dust from these pads?

I’ve been using them for the past 30K miles and like them, some say they don’t stop as well but I only use my Vette as a daily driver and cannot tell much of a difference from the other pads. They do dust just not near as much and the dust is a light gray. They are a direct replacement pad.

I’m sure other will chime in on the subject..
