Change '05 Steering wheel

Hello all, new here and am considering my first vette. Quick question, is the steering wheel on the '05 easily replaceable with one from an '06? I really like the '06's better but don't want to pay extra for a newer car just to get a steering wheel.

Yes,just swap them out,all mounting points are identical!

What about the air bag does it just hook up to the 05 connector?

A bunch of people on Corvette Forum did this. It runs about $1200 to do. In order to do this you have to change some airbag stuff. I didn't read all of the posts but it is not just getting a new steering wheel and swapping it out.

But why just replace with a stock wheel, when this is available from Caravaggio. If it would fit my car, I would already have it!
