Help! changing front turn signal bulb on 1986 coupe

hello fellow vetteers..... i am new to this site and have just purchased a 1986 coupe..this is my first corvette and im very excited to have a car that i have always wanted..need some info on how to change the front turn signal bulb...i really enjoy this forum and again loving this vette. jerry

I don't know if your car would be the same as my 93 but I had to get under it and reach up and twist the socket to remove the bulb.

I was able to get to the light socket with the hood open on my 88. Or you can reach up from the bottom as John said. Twist and it detaches from the fender.
