Any suggestions on changing the Fuel Filter on a "97". Is it easy to DIY or better have the dealer do it??

L A Vette, I have a 98 corvette and changed the fuel filter myself. It is located on the inside left frame beside the rear wheel. I jacked up the rear and supported it with jack stands, removed left rear wheel. You need a fuel line removal tool. When you get the filter from parts store ask them for the tool set not very expensive just plastic wedges that go over fuel line and release the tabs to pull filter off fuel lines. harder to explain but simple when you see it. hope this helps Jay

just reread my post the filter is on the inner side of the frame not between the rim and frame in case I had confused the location
