Where do the lines hook up from the charcoal cannister? I know one goes to the gas tank but my other line off of the cannister has been disconnected. Where would it go?

Reb, i would imagine it goes to the air cleaner. anyone else ?

Vent or PCV?

Greetings, is it better for performance to use a pcv valve, or just use the simpler crankcase vent on top of the valve cover?

Robin

Canister has two lines on top. (1) One hose line goes to port on carb.; (2) other top cannister hose line goes to PCV valve in valve cover (It connects to the top T fitting on the PCV valve.) Good diagram of canister hose routing is in the assembly manual.

Neither is better. PCV or vent has no effect on performance (unless you try to plug them up, then it gets very bad.
