Chat was a success!

It appears the Tuesday Night Chat was a success. Lots of guys, new and old, dropped in to visit and chew the fat; even a 17 year old maniac!!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to stay longer and chew the fat with you guys but I had to work overtime tonight and couldn't spare the time. Hopefully some other night....for those of you that asked, the chat room is open 24/7. As a member of the Corvette Action Center Community, you are welcome to use it at any time.

In fact, for those of you that feel the need to flame one another, I encourage you to use it. Instead of flaming in a thread - invite one another into the chat room and duke it out there! :L

I can see what you mean, Rob. Vent, get your frustrations out and then hopefully, when it's all said and done, you'll have either found a solution or agreed to disagree, but at least, it's over. The problem is people don't argue any more, if you consider argument to be an intellectual process of debate.

It seems people have their opinions; they refuse to consider alternatives and are not open to learn. Perhaps this is because of ego or lack of self confidence (or excess, for that matter) but too many people react angrily if their opinions are challenged, taking it as a personal attack.

In fact, for those of you that feel the need to flame one another, I encourage you to use it. Instead of flaming in a thread - invite one another into the chat room and duke it out there! :L
