Cheap GTech/Pro's

Not sure about that model, but I have a newer one and it's pretty accurate, and lots of fun.

I used to have this model, and it's consistent - which is the most important thing. It'll tell you the RWHP of your car, because you give it the weight and it figures out acceleration. Then when you make mods, you can determine whether your changes were good or bad.

Its timing and accelerometer functions are accurate, if that's what you were asking. I have the newer model now and sold my old one, but was happy with it while I owned it.

I believe that is the same one that my brother and I have. For as far as I can tell the numbers are pretty close to what they should be, nothing way off on one side of the spectrum, for 35 bucks you could put it to a lot of use.

DO they make one that is battery powered? My cig lighter no workie.

It actually uses more than power from your lighter, somehow it tells the engine speed (RPM). Someone might know how this is done.

For 35 bucks you cant really go wrong. I have one, and use it, with the occasional borrowing to friends. It is accurate, from what I can tell.
