Anyone know of the cheapest place to purchase C5 tire pressure sensors? also, do you have to remove the tire to replace them, or can you just let the air out and unscrew it?

You can order them from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com,
10438853 air pressure sensor.
The price is about $71, + $15 shipping. Not sure if this is the cheapest soruce or not. One of the Vette forums has detailed instructions, along with pics, for removing the sensors. Run a search and Im sure you can find it. Im pretty sure the tire has to be broken down.
You didnt mention what your problem is, but after I bought my Vette my sensors would read intermittently. Found out theres a GM service bulletin which states this problem can occur with aftermarket tires. Hope that helps.

we put the non-runflat F1's on... the ride is much better, the car handles better, and they last much longer than the Run-Flat version that C5's come with....

IMHO, that service bulletin sounds like a bunch of BS from GM so they don't have to replace faulty sensors.... they can just blame it on the tires, and the customer for not putting on the over-priced F1 EMT's.

The TSB makes sense, at least partially. The sensor just broadcasts a signal to the computer, similar to a cd changer. So if you have different brands of tires with varying amts of steel in them, that could cause interference. I would think tho, GM just compensate for this, if they spent an extra $1 or 2 per sensor.
